ABOUT US
We are excited to be returning in August 2026!...
Come and conquer our sunflower maze and explore the trail through 10 acres of beautiful sunflowers with lots of fun photo opportunities for all the family to enjoy.
We have been farming Silkstead as a family since 1995, currently farmed by 2 generations with a 3rd generation of little farmers in training!. We are a mixed farm, growing and harvesting cereals and lambing our flock of breeding ewes. The farm is a member of a countryside stewardship scheme which involves growing buffer strips and wildflower strips for the benefit of the environment and wildlife. This year we have grown 10 acres of sunflowers which has become a haven for important insects and pollinators; we hope that you enjoy them too!
In 2025, we were proud to donate £1451.68 to Long Covid Kids, all raised from donations for secateur hire.
The charity we will be supporting this year is Sophies Legacy
WHAT TO EXPECT
Our Entry Fee includes full access to the whole site including-

10 Acres of Beautiful Sunflowers to photograph and enjoy.

Sunflower Maze & viewing tower. ( A real maze!)

Sunflower Trail with fun Photo Opportunities.

Picnic Area with games, feel free to bring a picnic blanket/chair as seating is limited.

Instant hot drinks, cold drinks, snacks , homemade cakes and local ice cream available to purchase.

Free Field Parking

Dog friendly days (Sundays, Mondays & Tuesdays)

Please bring secateurs for cutting if you have them, or borrow ours for a small donation to our chosen charity (there may be a wait during busy times)
